Thanks for the shout out, Tolani. This is such a great post. True, the creator economy is evolving. We've seen social media influencers go mainstream like Jake and Logan Paul. 2025 is going to be better for content creators. Let's crush it for the new year.
Wow, this was really well-thought out, fleshed out, exciting, thrilling, and encouraging to read Tolani! As a seasoned creator myself, I’m excited for the strategic brand partnerships that come my way in 2025. I’m going to shift away from mentioning brand after brand in my content, and focus on the ones I truly love while putting my audience first. I think more creators will shift to creating content that brands can see themselves in, and less on being desperate to have brands pick them. Creators will get their power back and brands will respect them as partners, like you mentioned! Creators will become better entrepreneurs and business owners and not just freelancers.
Thanks Ahliyah! I am excited for that too. I am so curious to see how partnerships will change if the tiktok ban happens. It’s going to be a very interesting year for sure!
I look forward to long-lasting partnerships and more intentional creator/ brand partnerships. I really enjoyed seeing the content from the topicals partnerships. It felt more authentic so I look forward to seeing more partnerships like that.
Thank you for the post. I started my journey 6 months ago and my little goal was to post 1 - 2 reels that was authentic. I don't even know if I would grow or monetize but I would like to focus on authenticity in a space that is curated. I am still very early in my journey and I am excited to see where it takes me.
This post has definitely got me pumped for the new year, both as a creator and a consumer. One thing I’m most curious about is more creators going mainstream; as a consumer, the thing I love most about platforms like Substack, Tik Tok, and YouTube is the feeling of being closer to both the content and the creator; being able to leave comments and engage with creators is a big part of why I prefer YouTube and Tik Tok over streaming platforms. Also, I’m curious to know your thoughts on direct viewer/fan to creators payment platforms like Patreon and Buy Me A Coffee. How do you think viewers being able to pay for content directly will affect the kind of content creators make and the places they choose to publish that content?
Great post definitely think with the reflections on attention spans there will be a shift of sorts to longer form content!
Thanks for sharing, I love hearing different perspectives about what may be our trend in next years.
Change is a constant, so we as creators need to continuously evolve and adapt.
1000% Creators always have to plan/be ready for change.

Thanks Mark. Yes I think 2025 will be a great year for content creators too!
I truly like this, Mark :-) the creator economy surely is changing, and next year might be even more than we realize
